yeah, i do my multi layered stencils in photoshop. sometimes by hand with the pen tool doing each layer and sometimes using the cutout filter in filter-artistic-cutout. the number of levels on the cutout is pretty much the number of layers. that part is easy but you must seperate each layer using the select-colour range tool and make each colour a new layer. Then you must make sure that there are no closed spaces and that each layer covers the bridges of the previous one. easy peasy...
hola, you sed you had some q's to paulieslim. he's not the most social of guys jokes, but if he doesn't help you out feel free to ask me a thing or two cuz i've been doin that kinda thing for a few months and now i've got it down (well, you tell me ) but it takes a hella lot of experimentation and scru ups to get it right so if you want some help, lemmi kno. I'd have appreciated it when i was starting out so...
